New Year, New Jobs!

Happy new year! As we all move into 2024 we want properly announce the appointment of Genevieve Pietrusinski as AEC’s new Program Coordinator. Her work focuses on coordinating and supporting AEC programming.  

Before joining AEC, Genevieve was the Teaching Artist at Neighborhood North in Beaver Falls and, prior to that, a K-12 Art Teacher in Upstate New York. Her work as an educator centered around accessibility and creating a space for free expression and individuality for her students. Welcome Gen! 

Genevieve joins AEC at our new(ish) location at the Carnegie Museum of Art. With this new location comes new phone numbers for contacting the team, all of which can be found on the updated staff page on our website here. We hope to hear from you! 

Are you interested in joining the team at AEC too? We are currently hiring a new Director of Programs! This position will lead programs and initiatives in support of Arts Education Collaborative’s established mission and arts learning theory of change with a commitment to equity, social justice, and continual improvement.  

Responsibilities include facilitating current professional learning programs for K-12 teachers and administrators, developing new offerings based on stakeholder need, as well as supervising program staff and interns.
