Arts Ed Collaborative is hiring!

Arts Ed Collaborative (AEC) was established in 1998 to support the arts education ecosystem in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We collaborate with educators to unlock the transformative power of the arts.

AEC is now hiring a programs coordinator to join the team. The programs coordinator will support the planning and implementation of AEC’s programs, such as Leadership Academy, the ACTIVATE Arts Learning Conference, and school districts engagements. The coordinator will also play a key role in the success of the new artlook® SWPA initiative.

Successful candidates will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three years of experience working in a K-12 school environment. Proficiency in at least one art form is required (though a professional arts practice is not). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

The position requires a creative professional who has a demonstrated commitment to racial justice and educational equity and inclusion for students, educators, partners, and AEC staff. Candidates should also have experience implementing and publicizing programs, a preference for collaborative processes, enthusiasm for professional growth and a willingness to receive and act on constructive feedback, and strong time management and prioritization skills.

To apply, please visit Carnegie Museum’s job posting here. Applications will be considered until March 16th.
