AftA Releases Memo on Every Student Succeeds Act

Since passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act in December 2015, the Government Affairs and Arts Education staff of Americans for the Arts has been tracking developments and relaying updates to members and the arts education sector. They have now released a memo to state arts education policy leaders providing an update on federal and state implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) which contains about a dozen provisions impacting arts education.
