New Arts Ed Collaborative Resources Available

The AEC team has learned a thing or two about arts education over the years. And in that time, we developed a number of homegrown texts and tools to support our advocacy, curriculum, and program evaluation efforts. We regularly share these resources with our program participants. Now, we are sharing them with everyone on our website’s resources page. We hope they support your arts education efforts.

1. Advocacy: Includes posts about our vision, a playbook for teaching artists working as substitute teachers, and how to leverage remaining COVID funding for Arts Education.
2. Curriculum: Features an overview of our curriculum writing process, a quick guide to the National Core Arts Standards, and a process for developing assessment tasks.
3. Program evaluation: Has a link to our self-published internal evaluation reports and a primer about our tried-and-true reflection questions.
4. Research: Highlights our Translations series that distills important arts education research – such as Creativity in the Classroom: Schools of Curious Delight – for quick insights and ideas for direct application.
