Announcing a Year of artlook® SWPA Programming

We know the start of school brings packed schedules and busy days, but as you settle into the rhythm of the season, we invite you to take a moment to connect with your peers through our calendar of events. Join us to gather, share your work, and engage in community and creativity.

The Arts Ed Collaborative team is spotlighting the vital work of our growing artlook® SWPA community—keeping arts education vibrant, engaged, and enthusiastic across the region. Whether you’re a school liaison, a current arts partner, or a potential artlook® contributor, we have upcoming opportunities designed with you in mind. We will update event info and RSVP links throughout the year on our opportunities page.

🎨 artlook® SWPA Arts Partner Fair @ Frankin Regional Intermediate School’s Creativity Center, 10/9 from 4:30-6PM 

Calling all arts partners, teachers, principals, and curriculum directors! Our Arts Partner Fair is just around the corner- an energizing afternoon designed to spark new connections and strengthen existing partnerships across our region. This is an important opportunity for school educators to talk to arts partners, with a focus on professional and student learning opportunities! There will also be opportunities to network, and of course, have fun with food and a raffle.

🎼 Four Arts Partner Program Design Workshops 11/12, 1/14, 3/11, and 4/29

Designed for our arts partners, these workshops are drop-in professional learning opportunities for those that want to deepen their knowledge and competencies around working in schools. On top of that, they’re also great networking opportunities!  Each workshop will center on a different topic, as generated by our arts partners during the April 2025 pilot workshop. Join us for one, some or all! RSVP today for the 11/12 workshop from 3-5pm at The Frick! 

Game Night @ Attack Theatre, 11/20 from 5:30-8:30pm

Did you miss our August Game Night? Let’s swap and play games! Join us for an evening of the greatest hits of arts ed classroom games. Lead a game. Learn a game. Leave feeling inspired with new tricks up your sleeve. Thank you to City Theatre for co-hosting this summer and to Attack Theatre for co-hosting this next one! 🎭 artlook® SWPA Arts Ed Expo 5/21 from 4-6PM 

Celebrate another year of arts partnerships, while spotlighting success stories from our schools and arts partners! This event is for all current and potential artlook® participants and funders. The AEC team will be reporting back on data from the year, reinforcing new features and participation benefits, and recruiting for the future with prizes for schools/districts who commit during the event! There will also be networking opportunities and food to celebrate. 

This school year, let’s form new partnerships, create in community, and uplift each other with an eye towards the future! We want to help you make this the best year yet!
