Part-Time Teacher┃Assemble

Creative Arts Classroom Advisor┃Propel Montour Elementary School
Creative Arts Classroom Advisor (CCA) is a full time position at Propel Montour Elementary School. The CCA will work in the classroom every day with the Visiting Artist in the building. The main purpose of the The CCA is to help the professional artist (Visiting Artist) teach a Creative Arts module to students at Propel. This position provides guidance and classroom management to the visiting artist’s classroom. The CCA fosters relationships between the artist, teachers, ensuring that the program maintains its integrity.
In-House Programs Youth Coordinator┃Assemble
Assemble’s In-House Youth Programs Coordinator (“Youth Programs Coordinator”) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the youth programs that occur at Assemble’s 4824 Penn Ave Location, which includes Assemble Afterschool, Day Camps, Summer Camps, and Saturday Crafternoons.
Attack Theatre Summer Traction: Summer Dance Intensive

Summer Traction is a week-long intensive designed for pre-professional and professional dancers, teaching artists, educators, and dance enthusiasts.
Participants can choose one of three tracks – creative practice, creative learning, the morning track or drop-in classes.

The Grable Foundation endeavors to improve the lives of children and youth in the greater Pittsburgh region, with attention to kids whose opportunities are limited due to economic circumstances. Applications are welcome every four months.
Guide to Using Federal Funding to Support Arts Ed┃National Art Education Association
With the passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), new funding opportunities are available that could directly benefit music education. One of those is in Title IV of the law and known as Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants (SSAEG). ESSA passed in 2015, shifting the federal focus to support for a “well-rounded” education that includes music and the arts (defined as: dance, media arts, theatre, and visual arts). With the passage of ESSA, Title funds may be used to support arts programs. The SSAEG grants are designed to be used to ensure a well-rounded education and that means all arts disciplines are a part of it.

Executive Order Tracker for Nonprofits┃National Council of Nonprofits
After his January 20th inauguration, President Trump signed dozens of Executive Orders (EOs) covering a broad range of issues, including diversity, equity, and inclusion programs; government grants and contracts; civic engagement; immigration; and certain nonprofit subsectors. Some of the EOs won’t take effect immediately, and many are expected to be immediately challenged in court. This chart outlines some of the EOs that may affect nonprofits directly or indirectly.

Arts Education Data and Reporting Initiatives 2024┃Arts Education Partnership
The Arts Education Partnership’s Data Working Group first met in 2023 to look at arts education data collection and reporting at the national, state, regional and local levels. The group’s goal was to discover where data are being collected and reported and where gaps in data still exist.
This report contains four sections: access, enrollment and participation; learning; staffing and funding. Each section outlines questions, data and reporting sources, and gaps and potential barriers related to data.
