Join puppetry artist Nicole Maneffa as she shows you how to create something out of nothing: your very own Trash Puppet! Students will build puppets based on found materials in their homes and develop them into “Trash Puppet” characters. Then, they will explore the relationships between their Trash Puppets with others in the workshop, and end the experience with improv sketches. For this workshop, participants will need: non perishable household items (i.e. egg cartons, milk jug, small plastic or paper food containers, etc.) along with glue/tape/string/etc. to create the Trash Puppet; a journal or blank paper to write on.
This three-part live Zoom workshop will take place on July 13, 2020. Register today to reserve your spot!
